Man, Usana really has a lot of positive information out there. I find various #1 ratings around for their product line, and I have spent quite a bit of time looking at the products and the reports and things provided on their website.
In fact, just today I learned about Antioxidant Assay and Plasma Antioxidant Capacity. Someone slap me as I have returned to my college biochemistry class!
I will save all the scientific mumbo-jumbo for another article.
Right now I want to go over some essentials related to marketing your Usana business.

The very great majority of network marketers are still marketing the old-fashioned offline way so this may be very helpful to some of you.
I was looking back along the track of my networking career to see if I could come up with some definite answers about the similarities between successful actions in the offline MLM world and the online marketing world and what I noticed is that the concepts are exactly the same.
I think maybe the internet has allowed some people who are not so outgoing and apt to venture out into the world and contact strangers the opportunity to contact vast numbers of other people without really contacting them. But other then that the process is the same.
Just by coincidence I happened to be listening to a webinar by Tim Erway later the same day and he just happened to be covering the exact ideas that I was looking at earlier.
Allow me to summarize these ideas.
Tim mentioned a survey that he and Mike Dillard had put out to their list (Mike and Tim are partners), where they asked people what was their biggest problem in their business.
The number one problem they were having in their MLM business was missing information or lack of knowledge about how to go about effectively marketing their business and making it happen.
The second biggest issue was having too much information and being confused as to where to start, and how all the ingredients fit together. How does a lead page, and an autoresponder and my blog, and all the various hundreds of marketing strategies all work together? Basically, information overload.
Third was problem with using a bad system. They had been doing what they were told to do and it just wasn’t working for them.
Fourth was a lack of resources, whether money or time. No money to market, no time to market or follow up.
Solutions to these problems are knowledge and leverage.
Usana Essentials For Success:
One needs an automated prospecting system that will convert interested visitors into qualified leads.
Also needed is at least a few traffic generation strategies.
And a process in place to convert those prospects into sign ups.
If you look at what any 7-figure internet network marketer is doing you will find that generally there will be 3 components.
You could call this a system. Any system must be used properly in order to be effective.
Another thing is Scientific Marketing.
This has to do with the concept of a Funded Proposal. This is the act of knowing exactly how much money you will make from each lead that opts in to your list, and knowing how much you can spend to get each lead based upon that earlier figure, so that you know, you don’t guess, as to how much money you are going to make for any marketing action.
I would challenge you to try and find a six or seven figure earner, who makes their money online promoting for an MLM opportunity who does not use these components, at least accidentally.
I am not aware of any. And even if they say they don’t, they probably do.
