So, I’ve been blogging and doing SEO for about three years.

I’ve never had much trouble with it and I’ve always got a lot of traffic from the search engines and truthfully, that is my favorite way to get traffic. I just like the game of it.

But this past April when the latest Google update happened I got creamed! I mean, some of my most productive SERPs disappeared into absolutely nowhere.

Very unfortunately, the cause of this happened to be mainly something that I had been doing for that whole 3 years and it isn’t something that’s easy to fix. It is getting fixed but I will never again take the easy route and have to pay for it later.

In short, vary your anchor text, and get what you do post indexed.
