Reviews Of Isagenix Reviews

Isagenix ReviewsYes, I’m reviewing the Isagneix reviews!

Why? Well, because it’s much more fun, that’s why.

Maybe I’m weird.

Fair enough.

Here we go!

My review of an Isagenix Review

From Colonzone [dot] org:

The review will be paraphrased with my comments in between -

It Doesn’t Work.
Start with Colonix…

(Clearly this writer is a competitor!)

If you want to cleanse and lose weight, I would recommend the Colonix Program, not Isagenix

(But of course, because you sell Colonize.  My main problem at this point is that your product makes me think of the colon.)

…In many alternative health forums, you’ll find that people just rave about this product. Not only will you lose weight, but you will get rid of harmful toxins that are stuck deep in your colon.

(Hey, how does she know what I have stuck in my colon?)

…”Hoodia.” “Trimspa.” And “Isagenix.”  Is it me or do weight loss pills have the strangest names?…

(Yes, and most of them cause shorter life as well.  Sadly.)

… I was overweight a few years ago. I weighed as much as 150 lbs, and like most girls I desperately wanted to lose weight…

(150 lbs?!  Is that it?  I kind of like my women like I like my chicken… A little bit of fat on the end.  Not too much and not too little.  Just enough to make me grin!)

…I sometimes made impule buys for whatever were the hottest weight loss pill out there. For some reason, Isagenix caught my attention, and I decided to give it a try – I guess the weight loss Gods were beckoning me to try it…

(Have we ever seen a weight loss pill that didn’t come back years and years later having caused some horrible health problem for most of the people who took it?  I mean, these things accelerate your metabolic processes.  That don’t seem natural.)

…since Isagenix is also used by many to cleanse their body, I thought I should write a review on whether it was effective for losing weight/cleansing…

Isagenix is a very popular weight loss product that has been in the market for 3 years. For those who don’t know, they have a 9 and 30-Day Program that is designed to not only help you lose weight, but help you cleanse your entire system with various herbs and vitamins…

(Ahhh.  Herbs.  Good stuff.)

…With Isagenix, you have the IsaLean shakes, which are not tasty. The taste can be intolerable. I vomited during the first two days, but afterwards got used to it a little…

(Winning endorsement, no doubt!  I’ll take it!)

…I didn’t expect Isagenix to be a miracle diet pill – I just wanted weight loss to increase my confidence…

(For what it’s worth I think you woman are way to concerned with your bodies.  Straight men ain’t that picky.  Problem is that you take all appearance, fashion, skin, and hair advice from gay men.  See, those guys don’t like women, they like men, so what sort of feedback do you expect them to give you?  Just an observation.)

…the first few days, expect to feel dizzy. This is because Isagenix is cleansing your system, and removing toxins our of your body. The dizzinesss is good – it means the product is removing these toxins from your system…

(My 3 yr old daughter makes me spin her in the Lazy-Boy chair in the living room.  Round and round and round.  She loves to be dizzy.  Good times.)

…You might become constipated on the first few days as well. During the first 2 days, my stomach felt bloated, and afterwards the bloating stopped…

(Does Isagenix have a pill for constipation?)

Isagenix helped me sleep better. After the first 4 days, my weight dropped from 150 lbs to 148 lbs.  I attributed this to water loss, but I felt a little lighter.

(Sheesh.  I can pee 2 lbs!)

…I lost about 5 lbs after one week. But, afterwards, I didn’t change any part of my regimen, and my weight loss just halted. After the 30-day program was over, my weight gradually went back up to 150…

(Not constipated anymore though, so that’s good.)

…The bottom line with diet pills is they have side effects…you can’t take them forever.  You may lose weight the first week, but as soon as you stop taking them, you will regain your weight slowly but surely. These past few years have taught me a lot about health – you shouldn’t focus solely on weight loss. What’s the point of losing weight if you aren’t healthy and will die at an early age?…

(It’s better to look good than to feel good, I always say.)

Speaking as a doctor, I suggest you look to natural methods to restore your health and start body cleansing with natural herbs that will cause no side-effects, and that can be taken permanently without harm (unlike Isagenix)…

(Jogging has side effects too, at least for me.)

Review of Isagenix Review

from DietSpotlight [dot] com:

Isagenix is sold as a company that wants to impact world health, according to their website. The company has a line of products for skin care, nutrition, and cleansing.  Cleanse for Life, is advertised as a tool for weight loss along with energy and good health. The bottles of Cleanse for Life are sold in a two pack, and each 32 ounce bottle is good for two cleansing days. This product appears to be recommended as a part of a complete system designed to cleanse your body over a 30 day stretch. It is also sold as part of the accelerated nine day program, which promises an average weight loss of seven pounds during that time frame. They also have meal replacement options, including shakes and soups…

(Just the fact Ma’am.  Just the facts.)

…The whole product line is available from the official Isagenix website, as well as through a network of independent affiliate retailers similar to the classic Avon business model. We are pleased to see that isagenix reviewthe company provides complete ingredient lists for all of its products, but we are not so inclined to buy into the idea of a complete system with numerous products as the best weight loss method. We believe that many dieters can find success through a low calorie diet, daily exercise and a single, effective weight loss supplement…

(This is what I have been thinking as I have been reading through all these reviews.  Do you ever get the idea that there is just too much crap out there for sale?)

Isagenix Ingredients:
Cleanse for Life is a proprietary blend containing Aloe Vera leaf, IsaLyte trace minerals, Pau d’Arco inner bark, suma root, eleutherococcus senticosus root extract, burdock root, fennel seed, peppermint leaf, licorice root, choline bitartrate, inositol, betain HCL and I-methionine…

(I have no idea any of this stuff is except for peppermint and aloe.  And if anyone comes near me with choline bitartrate I’ll be taking some a** and kickin’ names!)

…nothing on this list that stands out as an effective weight loss supplement. Though many of the ingredients may be quite healthy in other ways, we prefer to see an appetite suppressant and proven fat burner on the list for maximum weight loss benefit. Well known weight loss substances like are noticeably absent from this list…

(Okay, I had to end it there because product reviews are so incredibly boring…ZZZzzZZZzzZZ.)

Review of Isagenix Review

from Eric Su:

John Anderson, the main founder along with co-founders Jim and Kathy Coover established Isagenix in 2002. It is a company that offers numerous nutritional and cleansing products, which are beneficial for the betterment of skin and body.

(This guy is “thumbs up for Isagenix“, easy to call it already.)

…John Anderson has had widespread knowledge and experience of serving to around 600 companies and has contributed in developing more than 2300 private healthcare industries. Cathy Coover and Jim are equally experienced in Multi Level Marketing companies (MLM). In addition, in today’s market, MLM companies are earning many accolades. The mutual brainstorming by these three pioneers is the base of Isagenix…

(All I know is that if you are in an MLM opportunity, YOUR company is the BEST.  And that is all there is to it.  But pretty soon the Earth will be out of remote locations which no one has ever heard of, which can produce more miracle vitamins and herbs and such.  Then we’ll all be stuck with going to Walgreen’s.)

…Isagenix offers a wide range of skin care products. Its skin care products such as Replenish, Revitalize and Cleanse have earned tremendous popularity worldwide. Moreover, most of these products are prepared through state-of-art technology to suit every skin types…

…mission of Isagenix is to provide maximum health benefits followed by proper toning and cleansing of skin through high quality healthcare products. Therefore, this mlm company completely focuses on the overall body and fitness. Next, refilling the body with the help of vital nutrients facilitates to energize various body parts…

(This guy writes beautifully.  I’m beginning to wonder if he just excerpted his review from the Isagenix company website.  Plus, I have some body parts that could definitely use energizing.)

…Right from its establishment, it has been growing rapidly due to the contribution of both direct marketers as well as nutritionists. The sophisticated laboratory of this network marketing company is equipped with latest technology apparatuses, meant for testing all their products, which are certified by expert dermatologists…

(Right on.  That makes it seem very valid doesn’t it?  You know I once thought about become a dermatologist when I was in high school because we only had one dermatologist within about a 50 mile radius of where I grew up and the guy was always busy and made a ton of money.  Not sure why I’m telling you that.  Just a thought.  When I really got into looking at it I realized I would just be inspecting people’s nasty skin problems all day.  Not exactly my idea of a good time.)

…Isagenix also endows with sufficient opportunities in respect to MLM…

(I don’t understand the grammar on this one.  Is it me?  Actually, I was having trouble finding any decent reviews of Isagenix in terms of the income opportunity.  Almost everything I found was about the products.  And the ones I did find about the opportunity were most done by marketers who were clearly just writing to have some content to publish to their blogs so they could try and interest people in MLSP or some such thing.  And there weren’t any reviews there, just adviced about some things to do to be successful in any MLM opportunity.  But quite frankly, today I’m not really ambitious enough to thoroughly research the Isagenix compensation plan and all that, which I how I got into reviewing the reviews.  Seems like a sensible concept.)

…To make fast money from home and to be a part of this valuable organization, you just have to fill up an Independent Associate form or enroll via online. The opportunities of earning with this MLM company is not restricted, however, it not possible to assure a certain level of earning.

Independent marketers also depend upon the time and effort devoted by the consultants at Isagenix. After the consultant starts a chain system below him/her and, if they are equally hard working as the senior consultant, who appointed them is, then that senior consultant is eligible for a steady flow of income including guaranteed bonuses and privileges from this company…

(There, you see?  It’s not telling me much.  I need it spoon-fed to me Man.)

…in respect to the negative aspects of Isagenix, products such as the health drinks and other supplementary drinks have not worked well with some people. Moreover, these products do not work for people suffering from certain medical stipulations…

(Am I the only one who thinks there are just way too many nutritional product MLM companies out there?  It is as if that is the ONLY way this stuff can get sold.)

My Review of an Isagenix Review

from jymtarrant [dot] com:

Do Isagenix Products Work?
Isagenix products have been used by hundreds of thousands of people all over the world. This stands as testimony to their validity. However along with the successes there’s plenty of stories of disgruntled users who feel cheated and believe that the products don’t work at all…

(You want to leave that out of the opportunity presentation though.)

…As with any health product, there will be those for whom it is less effective – we are all different after all. Another problem here is that some customers don’t follow the instructions for product use properly, and blame the product when they don’t get the results they hoped for…

(I had a guy say to me today, “Some people couldn’t piss in a boot if the instructions were on the heel”.)

…Isagenix provides numerous medical accounts and evidence for the validity of their products, there are a number of other qualified individuals who refute their claim of being the ‘World Leader in Nutritional Cleansing and Replenishing’. The products are certainly surrounded by a great deal of marketing spin, but nonetheless continue to bring noticable benefits to a very large and satisfied customer base. Whether they are actually superior to similar products offered by other companies is debatable…

(Sometimes all it takes to be a world leader of something is to just declare yourself.  I am the world leader of stupid company review reviews.  There is none higher.  I birthed the genre, and when you think of “reviewing reviews” you gotta put me right up there at the top of the list.  That’s all I’m saying.)

…The Isagenix Opportunity Review
The Isagenix opportunity entry cost is $39, which gives you your own company website and back office access for a year. It’s a simple binary compensation plan (meaning your downline team is split into two legs) with team compensation paid weekly…

(Ugh. I despise binary’s.  Who came up with the binary concept?  It sure wasn’t the marketers.  I think some guys who wanted to sell a bunch of their product were sitting around one days and figured out the binary as a way to have a bunch of sales people who you didn’t have to pay commissions to hardly at all.  Oh, I know, let’s just pay them on the shorter leg. Yeah, that would be hilarious!  And then by the time they figure out that they are getting screwed they will have some many distributors under then and will have sold so much product that it won’t matter.  They will have no reason to drop their auto-ship at that point.. brilliant!)

…The products have a wholesale to retail markup of averaging 33%, and retail costs vary from around $20 to just under $400 for the 30-Day Cleanse Package. This can bring in a small income fairly quickly, but making real money in Isagenix relies on building a downline and leveraging the sales and recruiting efforts of others…

(Sounds to me like a situation of building a downline of 5000 people so you can make $3000 per month.  Yeah, so you get $0.14 for every person you bring it, every month.  “Now, THAT’S powerful!”.  I had a guy tell me that once.  $0.14 per person — that’s powerful.  I had to retrain myself from laughing.)

…Will YOU Be Able To Make Money With Isagenix?
Obviously the big question of this Isagenix review is whether you can make money with the Isagenix business opportunity. Ultimately that depends on you, your ability to market the product successfully, and more importantly, your ability to recruit and train other associates into your team…

(The magic 8-Ball says, “The outlook is bleak”.)

…Unfortunately, a very large percentage of Isagenix reps fail to make much money at all and quit, usually within the first year. The compensation plan, although hyped up somewhat by the company, is sound, and it’s certainly possible to make a large income if you are both dedicated and fortunate enough to find the right kind of training…

(Man, back in the day, that’s all there were for MLM were companies like this one, where you got just a few dollars off each person in your downline, and the products were usually nutritional and so on.  And about 0.05% of the reps made any money, which is why in the 1980s and 1990′s if you mentioned to someone that you had an opportunity that they might be interested in, they said, “Is it a pyramid scheme?”, or “Is it MLM?!”, and then they ran away from you.  Ha ha!)

…Isagenix emphasizes ‘old school’ marketing methods, mostly based around drawing up a list of friends, family and other people in your life.

(Yes, because that is how they sell a ton of product and yet don’t really have to pay too many people.  The game is rigged folks and yet Amway drives on!)

…The best way to generate a stream of quality prospects to talk to about your Isagenix business is to use a fully customizable, brandable system on the internet. Online marketing is a major key to the success of many top marketers. Done properly, leveraging the power of the internet can turn your struggling Isagenix business into a true success and bring you the income you deserve and desire…

(Yeah, see this is what I was telling you.  The guy reviewed the opportunity but then we get to the end and we realize that he is with MLSP and well, I’m of the current opinion that MLSP has single-handedly ruined internet network marketing.  They have made personal branding so replicated that personal branding has replicated itself right on into, “Oh, it’s another one of those guys trying to use MLSP to get leads”.  Not to mention what had happened to Facebook.)

My Review of an Isagenix Review

from AboutIsagenix [dot] com:

How successful is Isagenix?

Isagenix was founded in 2002. Only eighteen months later its sales exceeded $50 million, and after only five (5) years its cumulative sales had gone beyond $300 million (cumulative sales from 2002 through 2006), in fact in 2008 cumulative sales exceeded $700 million, that’s impressive.

(This is impressive.  Geez.)

In my opinion, Isagenix financial success says a lot about its Associates, Products and its Management.  You can come to your own conclusion about the potential that does exist in health and wellness area.

(Amway has put up some huge numbers as well.  However almost no one in Amway makes a full-time income.  Some folks in Amway will read this and they will send me a nasty email or some such thing to tell me that one’s income is proportionate to the effort one puts in or some such thing, and yes, I am aware of all of this.  This is not a slight against Amway. I love amway.  Hell, I still have stockpiles of soap and laundry detergent from 10 years ago when I was in Amway!  This does not change the fact that despite the huge volume of business done by the company, the actual % of reps who make a decent living strictly from the business itself are far and few between.  It is no statement against the products.  They are superb.  I’m just saying that the overall volume of sales doesn’t necessarily say a whole lot about one’s ability to make a living by selling the products.)

When looking at the sales revenue, it has been just increasing year after year: in 2002 sales revenue was $19 million, in 2003 was $38 million, in 2004 was $50 million, in 2006 was $120 million, and in 2008 was $250 million.

(Yes, but with what Ben Bernake, George W Bush, the Federal Reserve, and now Obama have done to the US dollar, in a few years $250 millions dollars will only buy a tank of gas.  We measure our economy in dollars which are losing value at an incredible rate.  Everyone wants to know what the “DOW” did.  What’s the difference?  The inflation which is extreme is causing each share of stock to cost more and more dollars.  Of course the volume is going to be up because it takes more dollars.)

Isagenix has more than 200.000 Independent Associates and Preferred Customers around the globe, this constitutes another sign of its success and again the potential in the industry. We will review the business opportunity in a future post.

(It seems like these nutritional product based companies always seem to be able to grow to these huge levels and to have legions of distributors.  I’ve never been able to relate to this.  It may be my MTV generation, ultra-short attention span… oh, and greed too.  I’m spoiled rotten.  I just can’t think with a 20 to 30% commission.  But if you can build a downline of 1000+ people in an opportunity that does only have 20 – 30% commissions AND a binary pay plan… well, you are Da Man! and I salute you with full respect and honor.  You are a better man, or woman, than I.)

The company also seems to be engaged in supportive and community efforts by sharing its affluence with non-profit organizations as it’s the case of over $1 million in cumulative donations to Childhelp® a leading non-profit dedicated to helping victims of child abuse and neglect.

But what are the Isagenix Products?

(Boy, there is a lot of those little “TM” deals on those products.  I hope I don’t get sued for putting those on here.  How can one Trademark the term “Essentials For Men”?  Isn’t this on every other vitamin bottle you see at the grocery store?  How many of you men out there use Age Defying Eye Cream?  And if you do, do you keep it a secret?)

Isagenix is very well known mainly for its cleansing and fat burning systems which are claimed to contribute to enhance your health. The 9-day and 30-day cleansing system are the most popular of the company and sometimes refered in forums and popular blogs as a colon cleanser.

(This lady says Isagenix is well-know fo their fat burning systems but the Dr. who reviewed earlier said this was something that was absent from the products.  I get a kick out of it when a product is pitched that it will help you lose weight and then when you get the program it comes with an excercise regimen and a diet plan to accompany the products.  It would seem that the excercise regimen and the diet could just be followed without the products and the same result would be achieved.  Is it me?)

Isagenix products safe?

As far as side effects due to use the use of these products, I suggest that regardless of what you can read in this or any other website, even in the Isagenix website, always consult a professional physician or health care professional before you adopt any health and wellness program.

(Yeah, then your health care professional can get online and read this review and the Isagenix website and then make a determination.  You know what I say?  I say if we all just decide to make chubby = sexy then we solve many problems.  There are just way to many people out there profiting from the insecurities of fat folks, especially women.  People are taking pills which shorten their lives and cause heart arrhythmias and such so they can be thin, for what?  So they can get a date?  Okay, I suppose if you are like 300lbs or something then desperaate action is needed.  I see too many women who look fabulous, taking this stuff.  Just no reason at all.  Yo.  The problem is in your decisions ladies.  And you know what?  Some of the sexiest women I’ve ever seen were overweight by HollyWood standards.  It’s the attitude, not the latitude!  That’s my story anyway.)
